 I am going to refer to the book which I have mentioned to you before, "The Power of Praying Through the Bible". I love what she says about how to stay devoted to prayer. I think we all want that! This teaching is also such wonderful guidance for us to grow in our prayer life to the point that we can"pray without ceasing" or "continually" as we are told to do in the Bible, 1 Thessalonians 5:17....

 Most of us have heard the definition of Prayer: Talking with God, bringing our needs and requests to Him, crying for help, etc.
I especially like COMMUNICATING with God because communicating has two aspects to it: Talking and Listening. Talking: The Bible tells us to come to the Lord with our hurts, cares and requests "You do not have because you do not ask God. (James 4:2b); Is any of you in trouble? ...  I love the fact that we are here because the Lord has placed within us a desire to know Him better and communicate with Him, to be used by Him, and of course to hear from Him through the wonderful gift of Prayer.
We are each on a "Journey of Prayer" and it is exciting to begin this part of our journeys together, in this way! ... |
