![]() I love to encourage and teach about Prayer. Here is one of my favourite poems. What an encouragement it is to us. Please take a moment to read it; I know it will bless you. It is so important that we have an awareness of God's purpose and plan for not only our prayers but also, so importantly, for us as His special instruments. God bless you as you continue to learn and grow in this very special calling from the Lord! We are serving Him together. ![]() Many times while driving with my husband, I wonder where everyone is going in such a hurry. I have a fantasy of being a roving reporter, approaching cars at red lights with a microphone and interviewing the drivers. This always brings to mind the true story of Dale Rooks, a school crossing guard in Florida who had tried everything to slow down drivers through the school zone. Nothing worked, until he wrapped a blow dryer in electrical tape so it looked like a radar gun. ![]() If someone asked me what the most crucial part of my Christian life is, I would say prayer. It is through spending time with God that I am changed, strengthened, and guided each day. During times in His presence, I am reminded of His unfailing goodness and love. I cannot help but be humbled by His holiness, cleansed by His forgiveness, and empowered by His Spirit. Prayer is not just a time of sharing our needs with God, although that is an important part. ![]() "One thing you cannot afford to get wrong" As a mother and grandmother, I am so grateful that I can lift my grandchildren and children to the Lord in prayer. I love to pray for protection, wisdom, and guidance in their lives. One of my favourites is praying for my grandchildren's future spouses which the Lord has chosen for them. How exciting is that! ![]() Have you ever searched for an item only to find it was right under your nose the entire time? Even though you knew what it looked and felt like, for some reason you didn’t see it. During the early part of my life, I searched for something but didn’t know what it was. I just knew there was more to life. Without realizing it, I tried finding it through different experiences, places and people, but to no avail. |
