We need the faith to expect God to move through our prayers, but we often need help to gain that level of faith. I pray the following quote and prayer will help build your faith in this area; it’s a great start. Also, reading more of His Word and what He has done is very faith-building. He is awesome, and He hears your prayers!
EXPECTANT PRAYER - The Power of Praying Through the Bible, pp.113-114
“…When you pray, do you expect God to do something because you know what He is able to do? Or do you half expect to be disappointed because you doubt that God could do something so great for you?
If you answered yes to the last question, ask God to give you a heart filled with FAITH and EXPECTANCY of the great things He will do in response to your prayers.
PRAYER: Dear Lord, I pray You would help me to have strong faith to believe You will do great things in response to my prayers. Your Word tells of the magnificent and miraculous things You have done for people, and I know You are the same today and in the future as You were in the past. I believe You can do magnificent and miraculous things in response to my prayers as well."
