I am thankful that there are no strict guidelines about what position we must take when praying. For instance, I cannot kneel for long (or at all) due to vein issues nor ...
Here is something I want to share with you from the Prayer Bible, about "Postures for Prayer":
"[The Bible] does not prescribe any specific position for prayer. We may pray while standing, bowing, kneeling, sitting, lying down, prostrate, or with hands upraised. And we may use these positions in combinations.
Even though Daniel faces Jerusalem when he prays (Daniel 6:10), God does not insist that we do the same. God honors all our prayers, no matter what the place or posture. The prayer itself, not how or where it is offered, pleases God. The condition of our hearts, not our physical place or position, is at issue. Whether sitting or walking or running or kneeling, whether in our homes or churches or some public place - God is waiting to hear our prayers."
What is your favourite position for prayer?
