VISION AND PRAYER
"Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know." Jeremiah 33:3
Today I have a burden with regard to the Vision you have for your ministry. I want to say if you feel weak in this area, lack focus, clarity, and zeal or even sense a dissatisfaction and stirring that there is something more, it is time to: 1. Spend regular (persistent) time with the Lord seeking, crying, and listening. Fasting, if possible; 2. Ask trusted colleagues and/or intercessors for specific prayer for you to receive clarity of God's vision and to move forward in that vision. I believe that Point #2 is often overlooked. It is vital to have others praying for you in this regard. This is also protection because the enemy doesn't want you hearing from God and moving ahead with His will for your life. So be sure to add this to your daily prayer needs because it truly is a daily need. True vision begins with prayer. There is no way around it. Maintaining and moving ahead in the vision requires prayer. There is no other way! "A victory begins with vision." John Maxwell |
